Highstone International University is a coeducational, nonsectarian institution of higher learning. As a result, HIU maintains the notion of education as a teaching and learning process that engages the entire person by developing the information, values, and abilities that allow each individual to grow dynamically. As a result, knowledge leads to self-realization.

Highstone International University is dedicated to achieving excellence in educational programs and upholding its credibility as the global innovator in blended learning, distance learning, open access, executive education, and modular learning.

The statement of mission and purpose of Highstone International University is to contribute to equips men and women with the values, expertise, and skills needed to make a difference in the world, in conformity with the founding members' goal. And prepares men and women who will make significant influence to their local economies as they pursue their chosen professions.
