COURSE OVERVIEW – The B.S of Information and Computer Technology Management provides students with a focus on the creation and supervision of the information systems that are commonly used in organizations of all types and sizes. There is a primary emphasis on problem-solving involving cloud computing systems and infrastructure, creating intuitive systems, business modeling and agile design, data management and business intelligence, cloud systems integration and project management and business experience.
COURSE DESCRIPTION – The curriculum combines principles of information technology, computer science, and management to develop professionals who can effectively lead and manage technology-driven initiatives in organizations. It focuses on the effective use of technology and information systems in managing and solving business problems. Students develop an understanding of business needs and recommend technology solutions to improve business processes and achieve organizational goals. It also centers on the effective use of information technology to support management decision making and corporate strategy, in addition to providing all necessary operational level support for an organization.
By studying Information and Computer Technology Management, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage technology resources, make informed decisions about technology investments, and lead technology-driven initiatives in organizations.
