COURSE NAME – PROJECT MANAGEMENT

DURATION – 48months

COURSE OVERVIEW – The undergraduate degree in Project Management prepares students to manage and lead all aspects of organizations and to be excellent project managers. Students also explore the skills and knowledge that leaders employ when they organize diverse teams, evaluate ethical situations, innovate, solve problems, communicate effectively, assess leadership and organizational effectiveness, manage resources and use emerging technologies in organizations.

COURSE DESCRIPTION – The program provides students with an in-depth understanding of the skills and techniques of effective project management. Students acquire the skills they need to ensure the progress and successful completion of complex projects: project leadership, project quality management, project risk management, project schedule management, project cost management and project resource management. These skills have universal application, spanning every organization from construction firms to non-profits to tech start-ups.

LEARNING OUTCOME – With a degree in Project Management students will be able to:
• Identify the resources required for each stage of a project, including stakeholders, tools, and supplementary materials.
• Make ethical judgments and decisions in project management, considering the impact on stakeholders and maintaining professional integrity.
• Apply the generally recognized framework and good practices of project management, considering organizational influences, strategic planning, and portfolios.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with project team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
• Understand and apply project procurement management principles, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
• integrate key project management areas, manage project costs, schedules, resources risks, and people.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and lead teams.
