Holistic Psychiatry

Alternative, holistic, and integrative medicine are based on a variety of therapeutic traditions that date back thousands of years. However, there is a growing need for a "different" health care system, the shifting health care landscape, and the realization of the advantages of fusing the internal, nonphysical investigation of healing with the external, physical, and technological achievements of medicine.

This certificate program will prepare the learner to describe holistic and integrative treatment methods and their significance in health and healing.
